
We work closely with our clients to develop a website whose character and style reflects their needs.
Each website is custom designed. (We never use templates.)
Websites include a minimum of a nicely styled "Welcome" page as well as an "About Us" and "Contact Us" page in a CMS system which lends itself well to modifications. Any number of pages can be added without a problem. We also like to include a feedback form (if desired) and when the website is complete we build a sitemap automatically and submit it to major search engines free of charge.
The "kick-off" meeting generally (but not always) begin the process. 50% deposit on the website is required to begin work. Under our client's direction we outline the needs and expectations in specific terms of color, layout, style, menu links and content. Existing example websites are often a good reference point from which to start. At the end of this meeting a "review" meeting will be scheduled to review the new "rough" website. Client must provided all content (photos, contact info, videos, services, products, simple product import, etc.) to include in the website well in advanced of the next "review" (second) meeting or it will be considered outside the original website design agreement.
The "review" meeting offers the client an opportunity to change the style and layout of the website. Client must be specific. (Specific: "Darker border." Not specific enough: "I don't like it") Specific corrections will be corrected by the next meeting.
Stage 1 Satisfaction Guarantee - client may may cancel the website during the "review" meeting for any reason for a full refund, minus expenses such as domains and stock photos purchased. Client shall not be responsible for development already completed on the website. Cancellation must be done in person during this review meeting to qualify.
The "release" meeting will be scheduled at the end of this second meeting no more than two weeks after the "review" meeting.
The "release" meeting will ensure all promised changes have been met and require the client to "sign off" on the project or clarify their earlier corrections (to which they may not substantially deviate under the current agreement.) Release does not mean the site is bug free, but rather that the site has met the promise of our original agreement and is now in the two month "post release" period.
Stage 2 Satisfaction Guarantee - client may may cancel the website during this "release" meeting for a partial refund. Refund shall not include expenses which include 1/2 the design costs, domains and stock photos. Cancellation must be done in person during this meeting and noted at the time of the meeting.
During "post release" we assist clients in publishing the new website and submit the site to search engines. Clients enjoy full support for an additional two months during this period. Forget how to log in? Call us. Need a spelling change? Call us. Need a new page? E-mail us the text and where you need it added OR call and we will talk you through it. No charge! It is that simple.
Free support is important, after all no website is ever "complete." We expect you will need some assistance from time to time and include a free 15 minutes support every month. We even allow one month support to roll over to the next so don't worry about extra support charges. Clients rarely need advanced support.
